Full Membership includes the full services of SCAIHS. It is for families with students in six-year-old kindergarten through twelfth grade. The annual fee is $328 for one student, $388 for two students, and $448 for three or more students. Some of the services included are curriculum counseling, progress reports, permanent records, official transcripts, access to a well-stocked resource room, teacher enrichment seminars, informative newsletters, e-mail updates, state and national legislative updates, and a 15% discount at the Home School Bookstore. Those enrolling in the high school program also receive the services of a guidance counselor, a class rank, diplomas readily accepted by almost all colleges and universities and the military, and a formal graduation ceremony. Those enrolled in the special needs program receive the services of qualified staff with curriculum and educational counseling in this specific area. Auxiliary Membership is a limited-services membership also for families with students in six-year-old kindergarten through twelfth grade. The annual fee is just $100. It is for families using a full correspondence school. SCAIHS does not provide curriculum counseling, require progress reports, issue transcripts or diplomas. The correspondence school will provide these services. Auxiliary members do receive the newsletters and email updates, have access to the resource room, may attend teacher enrichment seminars and workshops, participate in graduation, and receive a 15% discount in the Home School Bookstore. Preschool/Kindergarten Membership is also a limited-services membership that is for families with just preschool or five-year-old kindergarten students. The annual fee is $25. (If a family has older children enrolled in SCAIHS, the kindergarten student is free and is included under either the Full or Auxiliary Membership.) Preschool/Kindergarten members receive the newsletters and email updates, have access to the resource room, may attend teacher enrichment seminars and workshops, and receive a 15% discount in the Home School Bookstore.
