Annual Standardized Testing for SCAIHS Students

All SCAIHS students enrolled in grades 3-11 are required to be tested annually. Each student must be tested on the grade level in which he/she is enrolled. Testing is optional for students in grades 1, 2, and 12. Instead of testing in grades 1 and 2, parents might consider using a skills checklist.

We recommend that students be tested after they have completed at least 135 days of school and that the tests be returned for scoring by April 30th. Tests may be given by any approved test administrator. An approved test administrator must have at least a four-year college degree and be registered with BJU Press Testing Service
(800) 845-5731.

SCAIHS offers group testing in Columbia each spring. In January, information about the testing is provided through email updates, this website, and a mailing to those members who do not have email.
